Written for Porn Battle 8, for the prompt "Picard/Q, mortal". Didn't end up with quite as much porn as I'd hoped. Q is human. Someday maybe I have to figure out how this got started.

I love this. But man, it's painful. Poor Q. And it's so weird, but I feel like someone should slap Picard pretty damn hard.

Wow. I think this may be one of my favorite things you've ever written. I love Q's vulnerability, and Picard's ambivalence over how it makes him feel. I love the flip in the power dynamics of the relationship. I love the relationship you draw for them, period. And while I love it so much that I'd love to see more of their relationship, watch it evolve, I think this is just the right length. It's sharp and poignant and layered and interesting. Thank you so much for writing it!
