Waco is only a 3 hour 10 minute drive if you drive up thru College Station. No matter what Map Quest says. Just drive the speed limit thru Riesel, it's a spped trap.

I love looking at fancy cats, although I adopt the ones no one seems to want. Next time there is one in Houston remind us, because Paul and I haven't been to a big show in about 15 years.

We've been going to parrot shows, but we haven't been to one of them either, lately.

You know, I struggled with that the last time I adopted a cat. Every time I pick a "breed", I feel a little guilty for not adopting a homeless kitty.

I love my cats, though.

Having looked thru the CFA's links, here's what I have to say: many people with ugly cats have websites. Now, an ugly cat can be very lovable. But I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for it.

The Belle's Cattery people breed gorgeous cats but can't bother to mention whether they have any kittens for sale. Sigh. Isn't Austin county in San Antonio? You could do a little research on the side..

I like big cats - it's probably left over from my first love affair with Christmas whom I could barely hold. In the pictures, he almost looks more like a modern-day Coonie than a Persian.
