Walking to the train from work this evening I passed an poster proclaiming, "Coming soon! Moonvertising! Look for the next full moon!" I don't think it's an April Fool's joke, considering the "next" full moon was actually the one that just happened five days ago.

But whether it was an actual attempt or simply an excuse to throw "full moon" "parties" in bars across the country, I don't know.

It's a Rolling Rock campaign. The website is amusing, and, thankfully, the whole thing does appear to be a spoof. I was wondering whether they were really intending to shoot lasers at the moon, just for kicks.

i remember somebody saying on TV that the first visible structure on the moon was gonna be a huge McDonald's sign-- wouldn't that be vomitously morbid...
