Thanks, I really appreciate that. As much as it sucks, things are o.k. for now in terms of getting things taken care of being able to get where I need to go.

Just beat on the scanners to scan faster so I have work to do. :D

having to take it to the dealership really sucks. They charge 2x what an outside shop charges.

Think of it this way. when they are done you will basically have a new engine that should run for another 100K w/o a problem.

Yeah, I know but I do think that this place I'm going to be using is actually pretty good. The guy seemed decent and nice when I talked to him on the phone. It is just hard having a Volkswagen. No one wants to touch them with a ten-foot pole. I did try to find out if there was any local shops (asked my mechanic) that might be able to handle something like this instead of a dealership.

Don't I know it. It better last me another 100K or I will definitely have a hissy fit. :D

I'm thankful I have family that can help me out. But I know they won't be around forever and I think it worries my dad a lot. It worries me too. But I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

Btw, I had a strange dream last night and I think someone who was suppose to be a friend of yours or was you ... no, it was a friend of yours who plays the violin? Strange.... I'm telling you. Was in it and was with my ex-husband (hanging out) and she thought I was the most evil person ever. "Oh, so your alannakitty!?! She knew me through here or something.

odd. Can't think of anyone that I know of that plays violin that would know your ex. My Minni friends aren't exactly ...musical...

Yeah, I told you it was strange. I didn't necessarily think it was someone you actually knew but more of the illusion in the dream that somehow you were connected to that person via LJ. That's why they call them dreams I guess.
