New Year: Am I Resolved?

Jan 07, 2009 22:42

We're a week into the New Year, and I haven't really put together a list of resolutions. I'm not sure that I will. I do have a goal of forming an actual spiritual practice (rather than a haphazard spiritual observance). The same is true of my writing. I think I lost track of my apprenticeship somewhere along the way and need to get back on the ( Read more... )

Yay Substrate!

It's kind of worrisome how excited I am about posting off a whole mess o' stories this Saturday.

Also - England! Very cool, and I'm way jealous. Never been to western Europe, let alone the UK. My bank account thanks me, but my heart says: "Moors, man! You must go see the moors!"

I'm debating on whether I'm going to send something I know needs to be workshopped but I finished awhile ago, or trying to finish up something to get in the mail by Saturday. (Because I, despite getting stuck in an airport for awhile, was not two-short-stories-productive. *g*)

England is well worth visiting; I'm excited to go back!

It seems in lieu of resolutions, you have yourself a nice set of goals. Looking forward to you checking them off, one by one. :D And hey, way to hear about Baeg Tobar. I kinda forgot about them. Are they still updating?

BT is not *currently* updating, other than a designers blog page, which is pretty cool to follow. They're looking to relaunch the site in April with The Unmade Man by Daniel Tyler Gooden and The Torn God, a webcomic that follows those characters on their next adventure. There will also be short stories to accompany both of those longer pieces. It's going to be really exciting!
