Ransom, Hostages, and Wishful Thinking

One small piece of advice: after declaring Apollo as a patron, do not then state that you haven't worn sunscreen since July, and therefore have no need of it at the end of August. This is foolish. And also a recipe for sunburn and/or sunstroke. Because the gods are spiteful. That's sort of their thing ( Read more... )

Ah... those instances when you realize the gods really are listening... and enjoy taunting you with the fact. *grin*

Ouch! Other godly advice? Don't ask Loki for self-discipline.

Being held hostage by the Summer Court.. now that would be fun. I think ifI were to hold a character hostage, it'd be Ridcully the Wizard from Terry Prattchet's Discworld books. Simply because he'd be such a laugh.

Ha! I'll keep that sage advice in mind. ;)

And Ridcully would be an absolutely hilarious hostage--or captor, really. I can imagine much fun being had as someone being ransomed by Unseen University faculty.

Well, she could demand ransom for it. (I kid!)

Steampunk Musha is definitely us--although you probably saw the PIG version of it, which uses the Iron Gauntlets system. We're sort of disassociated from that at this point, because Rick Hershey, the creator, wanted the ball back in his court. There's a d20 version for pre-order as an e-book at DriveThruRPG, which I worked on. I've backed off of a lot of the gaming end of that in order to work on fiction and comics set in the world.
