Richard Castle just keeps making the news. In today's TV Guide, it was announced that Marvel Entertainment is going to be "adapting" Castle's "early novels" as graphic novels -- the first, Richard Castle's Deadly Storm, features Castle's "famous hero" Derrick Storm in one of his early adventures. Castle had a reference to it and showed the cover art in the season finale episode, pretty cool. Less cool was Montgomery going evil/dying. Thankfully, or perhaps unfortunately, it was easy to predict so no big shocker.

I didn't realize until after I'd posted that, of course, I hadn't seen the latest episode yet. I would have talked about the comic announcement differently if I'd seen the lead in on the show! (And yeah, we'd had Montgomery pegged as the person who they'd said would be leaving the show, though I admit I didn't see all the developments in advance.)

You didn't really need to know someone was leaving, they've been setting up the Montgomery betrayal for at least 11 episodes. I was actually disappointed that the episode was so predictable. Very formulaic even if it was well done.
