My mom and grandma came up to Ottawa on Monday, and we all went out to Gatineau on the Québec side of the river. There, we went to the Canadian Musem of Civilization, where they were holding an exhibit on Japan. They had several old scrolls, Samurai armour, and other traditional articles of clothing, in addition to several more modern artifacts,

Apparently it didn't come on in the US because it was the Memorial Day weekend, and Canada figured they'd follow suit. I don't get that reasoning, but at least we were able to watch it! :)

Ah, that explains it, as Sidereel is American. I don't it the reasoning either, especially since the Americans aired Fringe on Good Friday this year. Heh

I guess the majority of Americans are more interested in bbq than religion? Maybe they were going out of town? Who knows. I can tell you, though, that I won't be able to last for the long break it's going to take until the fall!!

I love French cinema and music. Especially the really alternative stuff. Nothing really comes to mind now because I've been a hermit lately, but I will do a post on some of my favourite foreign films and music ^^
