I bought Paul Ekman's book!

I just thought it'd be interesting for you guys to know that the woman that we know in the show as Cal's mother (the one in the video) actually exists. Her name was Mary and it was her taped interview with the doctors of a psychiatric hospital that triggered Ekman's investigation about microexpresions. Isn't that cool

I got the book just before Christmas (actually which one of you got? My mum got me one as well you see and that also mentions Mary)and I was so awed to see that woman and that case actually existed. Paul Ekman's books are really insightful aren't they? And his writing style is so easy to read.

Oi!! That's so cool!!!! I got Telling Lies but I got it in Spanish (fuck it, I couldn't find it in English and I wanted to read it, and the cover was so mufugly that it came with a kind of outer package with Tim's face on it and I said I WANT THAT).

But yeah, from the translation it seems as though his writing style is not just for academics who are insterested in the subject but for everyone who might be. :)

Thats cool, i saw the book the other day, and i thought it would be interesting to get it, but wasnt too sure and i was kinda in a hurry lol :P

Oh no, im not in Bs As :P - I just went to the movies the other day (in the shopping), and while we were waiting, we checked out stuff in the book store :P
