Romanian tennis player on the telly right now by the name of "Sorana" (Cîrstea, admittedly, rather thanTor).  One wonders if as well as a pretty heavy serve and solid two-handed backhand she has powers over dinosaurs, and scary sovereignty magic.

Any sign of using "heaviness" magic on the ball when her opponent strikes it?

Not sure my eye was well enough in to tell! Wouldn't doing that on one's own ball be very similar to lots of topspin?

I have no idea: I don't watch any sort of sport, and haven't played any ball-games since school stopped forcing me to do so.
