A very interesting backstory setup here. Very much enjoying it. Particularly interesting is the sort of role reversal of her names - Pepper as the uptight professional, when Virginia sounds more fitting for that but it works well, a nice twist. I can't wait for more. :)

Ok I just found this story and love it, but noticed it has not been updated in forever. Are you going to keep going with it? I hope so, I am dying to find out who 'found' Pepper.
