Because women who have nothing in common are often best friends. Yes, of course.
[Prussia pauses, uncomfortable for a moment. In more than a few small ways, she misses her grandmother, and to have it implied that there was anything inferior about her, anything at all, is painful. It's only the fact that it's Romana that keeps her from getting genuinely angry about it.] But keep your faith however you like it, I suppose. Maybe you'll be right.

And I still would.
But I've never been so delusional as to think that my earthly actions in His name would make up for the sort of sinning I've committed, no matter how I ask for forgiveness. Our kind are not saints, not by any means. There are things I do for Him and things I do for myself.

You're not Catholic anymore.
We're not saints but we are not the ultimate sinners. We will face our judgements, and He will judge as he sees fit. He knows the reasons behind why we did all that we have done, idiota... He can forgive us. [She needs to think this. Needs some hope of forgiveness from someone to just keep going]

[There's a moment of silence as she digests Romana's words and reconciles them with the things she knows to be true and those things she's doubted all along. Eventually, she'll nod, then realizes that doesn't cut it and clears her throat.]
We'll see.
I'll remember not to invite you out drinking with us.

[While her voice stays sharp Romana deflates slightly, turning from the other woman] You used to believe, once. You would fight for the Holy Father.

[Falls into her own silence before clearing her throat, snorting softly]
No, I'll just be the one being called to drag all your drunk asses home.
