[While Vivi is wandering the forest, she may hear running water nearby. If she nears the river she can see an outline of a man sitting up against a tree. There was a sword that had been stabbed into the ground in front of him, it's blade shined a most peculiar blue color. His attention though, seem to be on what he had in his hand.

A book full of written notes and he was constantly writing and changing things in it.]

That can't be right... [A strange glyph appears in front of the sword and its properties were changed somehow, because now the blade shown an emerald color. Sword light show anyone?]

[Vivi spies the figure near the river, and approaches cautiously. He's not anyone she recognizes, so she's not trying to attract his attention yet. For now she'll just move closer, trying to stay out of sight as she watches him.]

[She finds a good observation spot nearby, hiding behind a large, low-hanging leaf and peeking around the edge of it. What exactly is he doing?]

[He continues working, not realizing he has an audience now. He's playing around on the glyph, pondering quietly to himself. How was his sword able to function without any aer? Was it converted to something else upon arrival? If so, what was it using now? These were just some of thoughts running through his head as he fumbles with the codes on the glyph.

Suddenly the sword started to shine brightly, like it was overloading. Whatever he did, it didn't like it and soon releases what excess energy it had into a shockwave. It wasn't a huge shockwave or anything, more like a minor gust of wind. Though that was enough for Alexei to back off and let it return to its normal state. Vivi might feel that gust of wind as well as it passes.]

[The shockwave may have felt like just a minor gust of wind under normal circumstances, but at Vivi's current size, it's still enough to nearly knock her off her feet--especially since it took her by surprise. She lets out a small shriek as it nearly bowls her over, clutching the edges of the leaf tightly to stay upright.]

[It passes in a moment, and she freezes, wondering if she's drawn attention to herself. Slowly she peers around the edge of the leaf at the stranger, trying to see if he's noticed her.]

[He glances to one side.]

...[It could have been just a mouse, but then there was something else that caught his eye. Something...blue and stood out among the foliage.]

...Someone there? [No...that can't be right. But then, there was Miyabi who told him that she was a lot smaller than she appeared...]

[She sees his gaze pass over the area, seeming to linger near her hiding spot, and she nearly forgets to breathe for a moment. Has he spotted her? Well. This must be the moment of truth. She takes a chance.]

[A very good point. All right then. Vivi takes a deep breath and moves from behind the leaf, cupping her hands around her mouth to help her voice carry.]

I'm here. [She drops her hand and manages a polite smile. Being tiny is no excuse to forget your courtesy, after all.]

[Vivi can't help shrinking back a little as he kneels close to her--he's just so big, that's all; it's rather overwhelming--but she recovers quickly. She gives him a small polite bow and nods when she straightens.]

Yes. I'm not normally this small, but I was...taken, and I don't really remember what happened. I need some help getting back to the village, if you'd be so kind.

I see. So this was the Malnosso's doing. Yes, I can help escort you back, if...you'll allow me. [Cause this is probably the oddest way of transportation for them both. He offers his hand to give her a lift.]

[She hesitates for a moment before stepping delicately into the palm of his hand, steadying herself against his thumb.] Thank you.

My name is Vivi. ...my friends and I are staying in House 6. You may know some of them? [She watches to see if he has a reaction to that...though if he's an enemy, she's pretty much screwed right now. Nothing to do but hope for the best. He doesn't seem to be a bad person, at least, though she knows firsthand that appearances can often be deceiving.]

I don't think I've been to House 6 to know, nor has anyone I've spoken to mentioned to me they lived there. So you'll have to lead me.

[She centers herself on his palm and sinks to a kneeling position, so it's easier to keep her balance, keeping one hand braced against his thumb.] All right. I think I'm ready.

We have a way to go, but when we reach the village, we'll be on the northwest side nearest to Community buildings 1 and 2.

[She begins to list off some of her nakama, with a short description so he can recognize them if he spots any of them.] Luffy-san usually wears a straw hat and a red shirt. Nami-san has long red hair--

[She cuts herself off as a memory flashes through her mind and is gone just as quickly. She had the brief impression of being together with Nami in a small cell...did that mean Nami had been taken by the Malnosso too? She brings a hand to her head again, shaking it slowly as if to clear it. This gap in her memory is almost as bad as her tiny stature. Maybe even worse.]
