Akuni: While I was writing this chapter, I hit the 100,000th word. Now don’t go copying and pasting just yet - I don’t always write chronologically, so it won’t match up when you try to do a word count. So I’ll just tell you that the 100,000th word that I wrote for this story was “love”. ^_^

Whee! I adore Byakuya! He's fantastic... Hopefully Renji will find Ichigo soon (or perhaps the other way around?) and then we can all laugh in Yamamoto-soutaicho's face and he will die of shock and we can all dance on his grave. Or something. >_> *cough cough*

refer to my comment from previous chapter.... I love it when the team comes together! It's almost like and A-Team episode. It just lacks the 80's music work montage! ;)

Kuchiki's are offering food, shelter, and hygeine. Kenpachi offers encouragement and a convenient cover story for HM injuries. Even the 12ths in on it now (without Mayuri's knowledge of course!)

That 10 minute alarm window screams foreshadowing. Do I see Renji/Ichigo reuniting and returning at the 11th minute? = 0 I'm bouncing up and down in my chair, excited, can't wait to find out......

Haha! Sadly, montages don't work nearly as well in written form, or you can bet I would've worked one in somehow. :D

The Kuchiki's are giving Renji what he needs most - a kick in the ass to take care of himself, and unconditional support. Ken-chan and Yachiru are encouraging (which is good, even if it's for their own quirky reasons!). And random other people are slowly being drawn into the conspiracy. It's all very heartwarming. ^_^

Kuchi- I mean Byakuya, when did you get all adorable and sympathetic? It was so great when he came out to Renji about his wife and how it hurts to deal with a lost mate. Rukia and her brother work wonderful as a one-two punch team. Hehehe, Renji never stood a chance.

I feel like everything is getting happier and lighter now, kind of like we're on the upswing of the arc now after the Renji's depression and soul searching (and Ichigo searching). Great job Akuni!!! ^_^

Byakuya has mellowed, slowly but surely over the years. :) There was just no reason for him to share it that much until now. With Rukia and Byakuya both looking out for him, Renji really didn't stand a chance - they're going to make him take care of himself, and they're not going to take no for an answer!
