"Ichi-nii!" his sisters chorused. Ichigo bent - not as far as he once had to - to embrace them.

"What are you doing home?" Karin demanded.

"Are you back to stay?" Yuzu asked

I Isshin for a father! Even completely off his rocker. :D I so completely love this line: "Ichigo, you have to live with your feelings. You can't just push them aside when they make things complicated." And of course this one... "Oh Ichigo, Daddy is so happy!"
And Renji's emotions tearing him up inside and Ichigo's love letter, and the cloak (poor Zangetsu heh). And smex in the office! ^__________________________^

Isshin is just fantastic. He's a complete and total nutbar, and yet somehow he's one smart cookie. Thank you, KT, for such a fascinating character.

Renji and Ichigo had some serious angsting to do, didn't they? But things look good now. ^_^ Office smex is always fantastic!!

Ichigo's letter... so sweet. :D He really wanted to write a letter back to Renji, and that was the perfect opportunity. As for Zangetsu & the cloak... wait and see how that is gonna be handled - in the next story. ^_^ (SORRY, DON'T KILL MEEE!)

See, I'd go DRINKING with Isshin, but I wouldn't want him to be MY dad. O_o I'd get tired of having to put the smack down on him all the time, for one thing. :P

That is a surprise... I don't think I would've thought to use that word. A lot of reviewers are thinking about marriage and rings and such, but I honestly wasn't putting things in those terms in my head. I've been thinking about a bigger concept of 'family'. That's not to say that the interpretation is WRONG, it's just different and unexpected. :)

Isshin's strange wisdom makes me smile. There are a couple spots in the manga where he's all serious and profound (however briefly), and I think it's a nice counterpoint to his regular insanity.

Sentimental is good! *hands you a tissue just in case* :)

Well I won't argue, for sure! That's what my marriage is about, so I hope theirs is at least that good, too. :)

They have a solid partnership, and hells yeah they're being monogamous! I don't think I could ever write them differently - I'm too bound up in their emotions, and there's no way I want to write through the pain, betrayal, guilt, etc, that goes along with infidelity.

It was so damn true. When did decisions made being based on others... This is what Ichigo wants and yes, that is what Renji wants. Oh draling, say it out out, I want Ichigo and Renji!!!!
