Okay everyone, I think I'm going to change journals. From this one to theangrystar. It'll probably be a slow progress (how am I going to get used to using another journal after using this one for so MANY MANY years?) but meh, it's about time. This journal has a lot of memories, so I won't delete it, and who knows, I may even come back to it ( Read more... )

Just curious how did you choose the name Akred in the first place?

Thanks. My last name happens to be Akred so I wondered if there was some sort of connection. Ironically you got it right, it is pronounced ache-red not ack-red, at least in my family.

Wow, that's crazy-- I knew it was a last name, I've google searched it, but I never really knew much about it. I've been asked if it was Indian before, but since I made it up I never really knew.

(I once talked to the person who owned the SN "Akred" on AIM and he was from Arkansas and his dad called him red, thus the name. So it's weird how many connections you get from it)

But anyway, that's so cool. If you know anything about the origin of the name, I'd love it if you let me know. Because I think that's totally awesome.
