I really shouldn't have Mac n'Cheese when my belly's all rumbly and sickly, but man-oh-man, did I ever want some! Today I'm home, there's no leftovers to finish up for lunch so I made myself some MnC. :D

I'm also listening to Stars' newest album In Our Bedroom After The War. Its quite good. If you're into that indie feel ( Read more... )

:D. I particularly like how we have Pollution instead of Plague.

Pollution is a much bigger problem, just ask Captain Planet!

Guardians was great, I loved the banter between them all too, Drax was just as much fun as when he was in Annihilation, Raccoon is made of win and Starlord, there can never be enough Starlord for me.

Now I really can't wait to read my Avengers: the Initiative in about, oh a week when it gets forwarded from my comic guy. :)

I run an lj comm for Avengers: the Initiative comm if you want to join - camp_hammond and if you're going to follow Counter Force, I have a New Warriors comm as well - the_crash_pad. Always looking for new members to chat with.

Counter Force?

Definitely gonna check out camp_hammond.

I unfortunately missed most of the Phlanx invasion. Last term was killer and I have yet to finish catching up on my comics.

Counter Force is what the former New Warriors are calling themselves now.

Annihilation Conquest is fantastic, especially the Starlord & co storyline. I have much love for them. Totally recommend it - more of the banter and we know how much you like the banter. :D

Avengers: The Initiative is solid every month. Really love what Slott and now Gage are doing.

GOTG was fantastic! Pelletier is an amazing artist and DnA are really creating a beautiful and intelligent cosmic line of books.

DnA are very good at Marvel's cosmos. It recently came to my attention they did Legion for a while too. Do you know if its any good. I've heard mixed reviews.

I've heard mainly good things about it actually. Never read it myself, never been a huge Legion fan.

In Our Bedroom After the War and Good Omens?! You have hit upon two of my favourite things! Barricade and Midnight Coward make my life! And Personal is so sad.

And aaaaaaaaah Good Omens. I seriously ask for that every Christmas and birthday. Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaimam together is just so much awesome it barely fits in a book.

Have you read Anansi Boys?

I had to force myself to read Good Omens in multiple sittings because if I read it all at once my head would explode with awesome-ness. I'm thoroughly convinced Neil Gaiman is Crowley, thus Terry Pratchett is Aziraphale.

Also, the book I'm reading (rented from the EPL) has BOTH Terry's and Neil's autograph. I'm surprised nobody's taken it yet.

Oh, and no, I haven't read Anansi Boys. I want to read American Gods first.

Have you read Interworld? Its awfully adorable.
