So there's a nasty cold snap in the West, here. Pretty cool because Canada's gonna have a white Christmas from coast to coast. First time in almost 40 years. Or at least that's what CBC tells me ( Read more... )

Yes, I'm new. Thank you for your hospitality. I found you way of scans_daily during the avatar casting talk (which has spread like wildfire) and we share in_excelsis_dea as a friend. Plus, you list chesse as a interest. (Which is quite awesome.) Maybe you can explain to me the workings of the Canadian political system & the Ocean Studios dubbing studios. You should've seen the icons I had before that one. Be warned, I comment on every entry. Hope you don't mind & sorry for this long intro post to you, I think I've gotten carried away.

Hmmm.. At best, Canadian Politics DON'T work. Lately we're in some scuffle because our current leader is trying to go all dictator on us. It's moderately funny and absolutely lame. I'm not the best source, but I'll try.

Ocean Studios.... I know they do some of the better dubs, and they're in Vancouver. I'm not sure about details, sorry.
