Free Slurpee Day!

Did anyone catch it? I had the day off but didn't stop in. I did however go to Seattle today. Had a couple slices at Belltown Pizza and went to the Sub Pop 20th anniversary comedy show. Saw Todd Barry, Eugene Mirman, Patton Oswald, and David Cross! They were all very funny. Swap Patton and David and you've also got the order of hilarity from

tina and i are jealous! i read the post to her and she says to tell you that "todd barry rules." i definitely agree. i hope video of that show gets on youtube and patton blogs about it!

Oh man. Patton had to save Cross in the middle of his act. He explains that while trying to determine if his nuts looked okay before hanging them out of his fly for his entrance he must have lost his notes. He tries to direct Patton and the host girl from onstage until finally he tricks Patton into walking up to him and hands him the mic, instructing him to tell a joke while he finds his notes. He sets up a great joke about KFC and some new Super Wing or something and then Cross is back in the wings ready so classy guy that Patton Oswald is cuts his joke short, says "Uh...Pussy. Goodnight." and hands the mic back.
