Hi, I found you after reading one of your fics (I've Never Asked--wonderful and you made me tear up at the end) on Simply Undeniable, and I just have to tell you that you are AWESOME. Your writing drew me to you, and now I am so in love with your thoughts on DH and the Epilogue (I read your previous post, too, and had to refrain from replying 'WORD' to everything you wrote). I just AGREE. With ALL OF IT. I have been feeling this way for over a week, gearing up to rant in my own journal, but now I just want to point people here with big, neon flashing signs.

Those children are not OCs. They are, well, Cs. This point I have to credit to my cousin: when you read fanfiction, when you decide to spend two years theorising about Snape, you have to accept that you are, to some extent, going to ruin the rest of the books for yourself. You have to take the responsibility for the fact that a revelation (take, oh, Snape-loving-Lily) may not cause as much impact on you as it would have done had you stayed away from the fandom. ARGH! You spammed me indeed, but what spam. I haven't received reviews this great in about a thousand years.

Am so glad that you agree about the epiloge. I won't pretend that I don't like the wankfest fandom becomes sometimes (in fact, I feed off it) but when you read things like "about 3/4 of the fandom have discounted the epilogue" then it's just annoying. Because it's important, and whether you like it or not, it's canon. So stfu, bitches.

now I just want to point people here with big, neon flashing signs.
Go for it. God knows I will never say no to pimping.

I'm glad that you liked 'You Remind Me...' I too am a fan dysfunctional love. It was foolhardy of my brain to curse me with a love of Harry/Ginny. Hate!sex is really the best kind; unfortunately the majority of HG shippers seem to disagree. You said alot of it's been the 'OH, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I AM GOING TO RUN AND FALL INTO YOUR ARMS' kind of fics Yes. Get used to this. :P ( ... )

Oh, I eat wank for breakfast. I'm a firm believer that fandom should never take itself too seriously.

Really? *sigh* I mean, I need some fluff every once in a while, but there's just so much potential for delicious dysfunction in these characters. Do people not see it? I get that JK wasn't going to go there, that wasn't the focus of her books, so that is what fanfic is for, people!

(I have one for that fic on another site that asks me to re-write it with DH canon. The mind, it boggles.)The fact that Harry died is what drew me to that story in the first place, even though the shiny happy part of me wants him to live forever and ever. There's just no way that fic would even work any other way, but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that ( ... )
