He does seem too good to be true, doesn't he? And yet, the lines that you highlighted can't help but raise the hopes of any Potter fan. Well, we'll watch OotP and judge him then.
And haha at Dan trying to point out political similarities between HP and the real world *grins*
If you want to not have your hopes raised, think of the worst of the Potter movies so far (in your opinion) and think of OotP being like that. Will that do for crushing your hopes and dreams? ;)
