Yes, I have noted the similarity, myself, but scones are slightly less fuss because there's no need to roll them out and cut them in circles and all that nonsense. Taste just as good.

Who bothers rolling out the dough? When I make biscuits, I make drop biscuits--just scoop a spoonful out of the bowl an drop 'em on the baking sheet. Nummies!
