Is there a committee to regulate the blatant theft of the word 'knitizens"?

Probably not. The people I know who might think of themselves in that term are quite capable of taking care of things without any fukkin committee, thank you very much, and they have sufficient experience with The Real World to understand how useless "committees" usually are.
