Hi, I'm new to this fandom and I love this pairing. Anyway I was wondering if anyone could rec me an Akira/Takumi fic that was set in the Mai-Otome verse as opposed to the Mai-HiME verse... I know they were barely there in that verse but I kinda want to see the relationship between them with Takumi as a prince.

There aren't many fics with them in Otome-verse, sadly. My friend Shainareth wrote a teeny but cute drabble about them as part of a collection. If you're familiar with the Mai-Otome manga, she also has fic with them in that universe.

Oh, yeah, I don't know the manga... I only read a little bit of the Mai-HiME manga which i borrowed from a friend... Do you know where i can get the manga?

And yes, I would love it if you recced me stuff from the HiME timeline too hehe.

Honestly, I did not like the Mai-HiME manga, but the Otome one was alright. Takumi and Akira play a slightly larger role in the series (Takumi is a prince and Akira is actually his Otome). You can read it online here http://www.onemanga.com/Mai-Otome/... )

Cool thanks... and I liked a bit of the Mai-HiME that i read but then i only read the first one... I was reluctant to read Mai-Otome cause i heard something about Mashiro being assasinated and I like her.
