Aww, I liked this. Ruki was such an emo!kitty here :( He should get out of his head and see what Aoi has to say, clearly it can't be as bad as he expects.
Also, the smut was a tad too flowery for me with all the spiritual experiences and the universe but then again I have never held as deep feelings towards anyone as Ruki does here so I wouldn't know.
I hope you continue with these series. Your Aoi/Ruki is always so distinctive from the rest ♥.

Maybe it was just me getting a bit too emo while writing this. The songs I was listening gave me the feeling.

I loved the overall plot...And think it should be continued...Only if you want though, cause it's really your choice XD

First of all if there was something wrong with the tenses, I didn't notice it. On the contrary story flow was very nice and easy to get into. Some metaphors were maybe bit too much for me, but overall Ruki seemed to be a huge drama queen here. Reading this I couldn't help but think he was overreacting, but then again the ending seemed to justify at least part of it. All of it if that woman from the picture is still part of Aoi's present D: But smut itself, I found it quite nice and the indirect, segmented way you used to write it very interesting.

Well, the ending hasn't really explained the whole dilemma, but then that's another theme for another story.
Oh, I am so glad that you found the vague smut to be enjoyable! That's the thing that made me nervous...
