Everyone's playing in the new-happy-shiny fandom now, and I can only grin like a gibbering idiot at the wonderfulness that it is producing. :glee: I spent 2 hours watching this vid alone, and it's to a freakin' Lady Gaga song. I'm glad that movie, as er, 'liberal' and 'AU' as it allegedly was, is inspiring interest in the actual series. Not that it causes me to lose sleep, but I know there are some who see that movie as their first and only Star Trek experience, and pretend to be hardcore fans of the series when they're really hardcore fans of the movie.
