I know what you mean about school stuff keeping us busy. It's been the same for me.
I wish I could further my studies for acupuncture and oriental medicine in China or Taiwan, but I don't understand Chinese. Going to a foreign country can be stressful and expensive. It is also hard to find a job.
Whether you want to go to China or not depends on if you're really interested, and if you're situation allows you. You could probably talk it over with a career counselor.
I am often afraid of stepping out into the adult world though I think I should have a long time ago. Sometimes I wish I could be a student forever, but at the same time I don't, because I want to become financially independent from my parents so they can't keep controlling my life. However, I'm afraid it will never happen, and I'll really mess up, according to the things they say about me.
I guess no matter what I have to make a decision. I definitely have interest in the area but the studying part kills me. I'm not a memorising person, more of a "give me a topic and I'll come up with something" type of person.
We will have to grow up whether we like it or not. The way that we handle it makes the whole difference. Of course there is no best way to do it, but you have to believe and follow on the path you want to tread on.
