* I like spreadsheets
* If it is simple, I frequently like to complicate things, usually by involving spreadsheets

I have been thinking about doing some sewing for a ( Read more... )

So as first replier which one would you like?

The red and green ones are made from moleskin and the pink one is wool.

I've got an address for you from Feb 2005, is that still correct? If not please PM and I'll hopefully get it in the post next week.

I love green,so that would be cool :) I think we moved in March 05 from Sheffield to Pontefract, so if it's thePonte address, then that's great :)

What a great idea! I carry those little plastic packets of tissues around in my handbag and they always end up in the bottom of the bag, so yes please, I'd love one.

Which colour would you like? Tiggsybabes has first choice as she replied first. The red and green ones are fomr moleskin like material and the pink one from wool.

It looks like I've never sent you a book so please can you PM your address and I'll hopefully be able to post it next week.

I save all my scraps too and use them for 12" memory quilts for the local hospital - they give them to parents who have suffered a miscarriage.

I'm stingy enough to lay out pattern pieces on the carpet and measure around them too - patterns always over-estimate how much you need to buy...

I'd love one of the tissue holders if they're still going begging - anything to help my disorganised handbag activities! They look fab :)

I tend to buy 3 or 4m of fabric and know I'll be able to get more than one thing out of it (I don't buy very expensive material, but have large quantities).

How did you find out about local hospital project? I hadn't thought about doing anything like that.

Tiggsybabes has claimed the green one and I'm waiting to hear from starry_jen on which colour she would like. You have the choice of red moleskin or possibly pink wool (depending on starry_jen) so which colour would you like?

I've signed up to RABCK so I can access your address from there so I will try and get it in the post next week.

Under my bed is choc-full of plastic crates of fabric...but shhh :)

A lady asked on Freecycle for donations of wool for turning into prem baby clothes for the local hospital unit, and I contacted her to say I'd like to help. So I knit teeny clothes and make tiny quilts. She says that they struggle to find people willing to make the quilts, because volunteers prefer to knit and sew for living babies. The quilts are given to all parents after a miscarriage - not matter how early on in the pregnancy, as a tangible memory of their baby. If you get in touch with your local Special Care Baby Unit, they should be able to give details of what's running in the area or what they need.

I'd love the red moleskin - useful and strokeable! *g*

Thank you :)

Just looking on your wish list I see you have the magician's guild. Would you like to borrow my permanent collection copy? Katie1980 lent me her PC copy and after reading it I went out and bought the whole set.

I also picked up a Philippa Gregory at the weekend from a OBCZ. Have you read the virgin's lover? If not would you like to read this one after me?
