I'm so close to the end of this essay... and all I can think is that I really, really want to re-write it. Oh well! It'll be done tommorow by five and that's that. Because OMG ENOUGH ALREADY. I hate to ask, but where are you from? I know a Kevin (my Cousin) but he is in Manitoba. Where are you from?
Congratulations! Isn't it sooo cool, when you receive something out of the blue? It's the weirdest feeling - in your words, a bit cheesy - but it's all good. It feels wonderful! Congratulations! Yippeee!
I like to sing too, but for the life of me - I cannot hold a note together very well, unless I am singing along with the vocals. Ha...

I'm living in Ontario right now, but I don't think this Kevin is a Manitoban.
In my experience, most people sing better than they give themselves credits for!

My Father-in-Law has a voice like that. He sings all of the time and all of the time he sings, he melts my heart. He has a very good voice. He sings a lot like Frank Sinatra.
My Husband too, has a very soothing singing voice. I always have good naps when he sings karaoke. I'll put my head on his lap, he will sing and the next thing you know I'm in Happy La La Land. It's great. But, when I'm awake and listen to him sing, it brings me great joy because his voice is so beautiful.
I'm okay. I wasn't trying to say I have a frightfully scary voice when I sing. But, I'll have to say I'm either an alto or a tenor. I cannot get those soprano notes at all.
But, you are right. Everyone can sing. They just need to find the right songs or something that they are good at singing at.
More power to you.
