I think you're taking the right path with this in terms of doing more research and stuff. I'd recommend speaking to your college's guidence counsellor. Who knows? You might be just stuck in a bit of a rut and Marine Biology is right for you afterall. I certainly question the course I'm in from time to time myself.

Oh holy shit, if AXS really mean that then FUUUUUUUUCK HAPPINESS EXPLOSION. Hell, even if they don't the fact they acknowledge how damn gayalicious their relationship is is enough to make me feel all warm in the little piece of coal I have for a heart.

thanks Scales, I plan to do just that and more. Somehow one of my professors found out about my problems and is being cool enough to sit down and talk with me about it. It'll be okay, I just have to endure until I find my path again.
