I just happened across this title last week and it looked fairly interesting so I looked it up. And lo and behold a new series obsession was born. I fell in love with this series FAST. Like BAM. I went out and bought the first four tankoubons at the bookstore (luckily they were on sale or I wouldn't have been able to afford them!)

love this manga too!! my fav character is Grell Sutcliff. This manga has a musical too..the musical was totally great!

yeah I heard there was at least one musical! I saw some of the costume pictures, it looked stunning! :D

Yo I could have told you that (but since I have been MIA for a min that would have been hard)....any ways it is a VERY good show... I finished both seasons last year....sebastian is hot -ahem- ^_^

LOL I am enjoying the manga more than I enjoyed the anime, to be honest. Although that's saying something considering I really liked the anime series. I did finish both seasons and the OVAs (Ciel in Wonderland....LOVED IT) and it was great!

Sebastian IS hot indeed :3 but I loves Ciel the MOSTEST <3

sorry I haven't responded yet LOL. Well yeah I'd say it's for more mature readers. It can get bloody at times and there are a lot of mature themes (child abuse, drugs, crime, murder, zombies, etc). In my opinion though it's not as explicit as it could be, it just hints on some of the more dark stuff.

The story is really deep and enthralling though. The characters are all very well developed and the art, as I said before, is gorgeous. I prefer the manga series over the anime.

OMG please do it!!!! Yana (the mangaka) draws such beautiful Victorian clothing; I always wish I could just snatch it right out of the pages and wear it myself!!!
