Oh, EPIC.

I love how we slowly see Finnick fall in love.

That would be cool, if the author has a say in casting.

Honestly, though, I'm more thrilled about the fact that Collins is both writing the script AND has experience writing for film. That just makes me super-happy.

Also, you have lovely stock icons

Me too! From reading the series, Collins definitely knows what she's doing. I think she'll translate the book into film very well. Her writing style suits it =]

And thank you xD I love stock icons ♥

Actually, when I reread the series I was thinking that it would be a hard series to adapt. You have so much internal information and flashbacks that work fantastically with the first person narrative but I don't think would translate into film easily.

I meant I think she'd do a good job. It reminds me of a book by one of my favourite authors - she did the script too, and won an award for it at the same time. She wrote her book in first person, and it's the similar no-fuss writing style, with a female narrator. Collins will have to accept not everything can be translated, and some things will have to be changed - I think that's why she wants to do the translation herself. And I trust her for it :) I think the film will work very well, as long as they can get the actors and a good director.

Oh, I agree with that! THG has a great story and since Collins knows how to write scripts, I'll trust that she'll have a sense of what she has to leave and how to translate what stays into a new medium.

*fingers crossed*

*fingers crossed too* I hope the producers recognise how big this will be, so they cast good actors, unlike in Twilight =\
