Aren't colleagues considerate folks? I consider letting the coffee machine run out of ingredients about as polite as leaving the toilet without paper.
Some do it even when I'm standing behind them in line. That's a perfect way to get scowled and growled at by me, especially if I've been in line for my FIRST cup of coffee that day.
No.. The "Mhmmmmmmm" triggers the wolf-type coffee fetching device, the scent of freshly brewed, delicious coffee then trigger the survival instincts.... and those then in turn enable the coffee-drinking abilities.
