that doesn't explain the this-earth constellations viewable from other-earth.

which is the only thing that had me weirded out by the prospect of them ending up on Earth-earth. other-earth had our constellations as well....

What needs to be explained?

The Cylon Earth was a planet close enough to our earth that could use the same constellations.

Kara found that earth using the tomb of Athena charts and her own universe guiding.

I don't think constellations work like that.... But I could be wrong.

I think open-ended is the only way to go really. I see it as a numbers game:

Define exactly what Kara is (even if it doesnt make sense) and you piss off a certain percentage.

Give some vague idea of what she is and leave it up to interpretation and you piss off a much smaller percentage.

(personally, I felt her definition was alot more concrete than others think)
