Somehow, it is even more infuriating when women spout this nonsense than when it's men... And "irrationally hating men"? For what? Saying that they're actually capable of controlling their actions?

When women spout it I think I'm more sad than prone to violence, really. With men, I'm all for a good kick to the nuts. Because, seriously. Ick. I just assume this is a female of some kind because most people that come to my blogs etc are. :S

Yes, I think that's it. I did make a remark to the effect that if men can't control themselves, then perhaps they should be kept under lock and key and supervised at all times, but I should think the operative word here is if and it should be rather obvious that it's a dig at all those ~men and their urges~ arguments.

Like any blogging site, there's a bunch of idiots running around on tumblr. Most of the time I don't actually bother, and ignore them. Sooner or later there are a couple of gifs running around stating exactly what I feel towards such idiocy and I look at them for a bit and it makes me feel better :D

Don't worry your not alone, thank you for speaking out actually. I just recently got a tumblr as well and though I enjoy the glee and hp fandom enthuiasm there is a lot of ship wars/ bickering and general lack of care with words and thoughts. I am constantly reminded that a majority of the people I follow are rather young, so many high schoolers, but it's still not an excuse. Pointing out the problems with their posts and commonly held beliefs is a great step toward making everyone aware of important situations and discrepancies within our society. Now look at me up on my soap box... anyway I just wanted to say that every time you post on Tumblr i'm usually right behind you opinion wise. I should probably make a point to speak out more as well.

It's rather draining to constantly have to be the one to go against the grain so I may lose stamina soon and I don't blame you for not wanting to stir up shit but ugh, damn, I get so aggravated. >:/

I'm glad that some do agree though. Gives me a tiny bit of hope for humanity. :)
