Congratulations! I don't do a lot of fan fic on deadlines, but I have to say that I've definitely found myself turning papers in right under the wire. All that matters is that they're turned in before the deadline, right?

Poor lonely little Kupo. I once told a friend who was very active in fandom that her children probably wouldn't know her name or their phone number, but they'd could give her online name and web address as soon as they could talk. :) Go have fun with him as a reward to yourself for finishing the fic!

Last time I did a fest, I had to turn in really later after having a perfect record with handing in on time, and I was all NO I'M NOT MAKING THAT INTO A HABIT!!

Haha, Kupo doesn't know either yet. I'm just Mom. ;) But I am watching TV with him and such and he seems happy that I'm around. XD

No problem at all. I know how it is when you get stressed out and the last thing I'd want to do is cause you more stress over something as minor as that. :)

Doing something that ruins a perfect streak always hurts, but now that you've gotten back on track, you can just write it off as a one time mistake.

You know, it just occurred to me that it's going to be very interesting when Kupo is old enough to get into Harry Potter. It's good that you guys are taking it easy now. Those are the best times.
