Don't worry about the fangirls. They can find something else to bitch and moan about--at least, they have so far.
Believe me, I understand the reluctant muse. I've had custody of one for two years--who knew that spending TOO much time with your partner would kill a muse's spark deader than a doornail? Not me, or I would have shoved Sandy out of the bed and back to her mother's house and the reincarnation of Hitler she calls Mom.
Take your time. I love you and it doesn't matter to me whether you post Bracelet now or wait until it's finished. I am your friend for YOU, not for your story.
As for those other idiots, unleash the bloodlust! :)
Yeah, most people don't understand that it's not all that great and squee-worthy that people are nagging you for updates. I know I'm not the greatest writer in fandom, for sure, and I am really happy and grateful that people enjoy my stories and want to let me know, but it can be so effing stressful after a while.
There are other ways for readers to be appreciative -- and, mind you, every single review I've gotten for weeks has been extremely nice and courteous! But every time I do push out a chapter there are people going "zomg, update liek NAO" (ok, not so bad when just like that) or "plz be faster next time" (very bad) or whatever. >_> If some people would get the hints I've been trying to drop on everyone's heads and not be so naggy, I could easily update more. *sighs

funny. i was just in the kitchen thinking about really missing your postings on LJ. turning back to my laptop & finding (on twitter, dammit) that you just posted.
of course. you should do what pleases you the best. if you do not feel like posting, then not doing it is the right thing to do.
that said. i really, really, i mean really, do look forward to more bracelet, more kitty fics. sometime. whenever you feel it to be the time for it.

In order to write smut (which, by the way, I REALLY ENJOY DOING) and making it good, I have to not have sex. As in... yeah.
To keep the juices flowing so to speak. XD
Ew. That sounded gross.
And apart from that, partners take time and if you're all snug like that, it can be hard to summon the right tensions and such.
At least that's my experience.
Fortunately, Maz is really sweet about my writing time and can even be persuaded to let me write smut.. ;)

Wouldn't it make more sense the other way around... or is it just me that thinks that?

If I keep my goal of less than 110 chapters then, feasibly, it should be DONE soonish. :-O
