1) Are you OK, now? I guess you are... ARE YOU? *is about to freak out for worrying about your well-being*
2) YAY for daycare. =). Kupo will develop his social abilities.
3), 4) & 5) I haven't read so much last year, only a couple of one-shots and I don't even remember if they were started in 2008. Last year and this year had been pretty hectic with work and school, so I've been unable to indulge into this guilty but delicious pleasures.
1) I'm fine :) It's only a teeny tiny wound that pinches a little bit. The stitches I had after giving birth were much, much, much worse. And the thing that was removed was more of a nuisance than dangerous, which is why I had to wait months to get it done.
2) Yeah, that's actually why we want him in daycare even though we don't technically need it yet. That and, well, it IS nice to have a breather every once in a while. :)
4) I only joined the ranks in 2007 myself so most "new" stuff I've seen around is from 2008. :) It was a bit strange to realize that I only had two fics from 2008 myself, though, because I feel like I write a lot. I guess most of that goes into Bracelet, huh? XD
I wondered what happened to your post-I thought that you just wanted it that way.
1-My empathy is with you. Even 'minor' surgery is surgery, no matter what they do. Hope that Maz gives you all the support that you need. :)
2-I agree with your idea. Too many times people just drop their child off at daycare and they stay all day, missing their parents. You've got the right idea there.
4-Don't know if I'm going to nom anything this round-might second though. Depends.
5-LJ does steal life-before I split my flist into filters, it would sometimes take me HOURS to go back through the posts. With the filters, usually not so long. Of course, you're on all of them. :)
1) After getting my referral it took me 4 months to get what was literally a 5 minute procedure done. Sometimes the mind boggles. But, ok, it was just a nuisance, but still! But then again, it's free, so... >_
( ... )
That WAS funny! Although if she's completely serious that authors can't have blogs, then she's just dumb. SOME of us, however, are too social for our own good and need the time management benefit of NOT checking LJ all the time. :)
