Oh, and I already know what I want for my 40th birthday. I so want a boob job. Not bigger boobs (what, are you NUTS?) but rather just perkier ones.

My aunt got hers reduced, and she lost a lot of weight, so now she seems like half the person she used to be. It was very strange.

With a birthday on Christmas, do people ever try to get you just one present for both? My roomie's stepmother has a birthday around Christmas, and she insists on two presents.

It would depend how they could lift them more easily, really. I think I heard that they need to put in a small implant in order to lift them efficiently, but in the next 13 years that might not be true anymore. :P

Well, in Denmark we get Christmas presents on the 24th. Still, some people do combine presents sometimes, but it usually means that I get bigger presents. *shrug* Some people can be truly stupid when it comes to gift-giving, though. When I was a kid my dad's family used to organize these Christmas lunches on my birthday and nobody would give me even the smallest token gift (except this one time my one aunt did, but it came with the disclaimer of being a one time thing).

Back then it did disappoint a bit, but I actually thought it was just me being greedy or something. Now, as an adult, I want to kick those idiot people's arses.

I don't think you need an implant for a breast reduction/lift. I saw a medical show on implants a long time ago and it freaked me out so much. The doctor just grabbed the muscle and YANKED it up and shoved the implant in...it just looked so violent. *shudders*

I think they did say happy birthday. But beyond that there was nothing to acknowledge that I might not find watching them get drunk to be the bestest birthday experience ever.

I honestly don't really know how they do it, I just know that they can do it and that it costs money. XD As for it looking violent -- well, I've also seen some c-sections that looked pretty violent because they really need to use force. O.o

I have heard, though, that some doctors will be deliberately sloppy with plastic surgery because they have nothing but disdain for those getting it =/ I sure hope those don't get to practice for long...

Boob lift at 40...with ya on that one. Except for the whole cutting thing. I think they cut the nipple and move it higher but maybe not. I've based that on my medical knowledge which is limited to what I see on tv. I think you're lying when you say The Bracelet will not be 100 chapters. Okay, that was harsh, you're not a liar. I'm just doubtful that it's possible. Even with my limited knowledge of both those characters, that fic was damn funny...see told ya I wouldn't lurk anymore ;)
