Whoa! You need to stay off that caffeine, girl! I feel puffed out just reading that last message! Take a few deep breaths, meditate, do some yoga, or whatever :)

I think you did waste your $23 for an adapter just for your hairdryer, considering you could probably borrow someone else's hairdryer whilst you're here, or else buy one! Those little travel ones only cost about 12 quid :P

It's the most annoying thing though, isn't it, how different countries have different plugs and voltages and stuff? It's about as annoying as different regions having their own DVDs and video tapes being incompatible, etc. One would almost think it was some kind of conspiracy...

it HAS to be conspiracy!! has to be! that's the only logical reason for it.

and i'll try to lay off the caffeine...i promise. *grin*

i guess i figure i'll get some use out of that crazy adapter one of these days. hell, you never know, i may move over there someday! *wink*
