I'm at home, sitting at my computer with a purring kitty on my lap, and I was productive this evening so I'm feeling good, so it seems like a good time to update LJ. You know, in a way that's not a seven-mile rant. =P

Oh? The woman who gave me the cuttings said those were pineapple sage. I have now Googled 'lipstick plant' and they do look awfully alike! ^^ Either way I also love that it bloomed while waiting for the roots to grow.

BTW, it's harder to tell whether the climbing rose cuttings are rooting since I put them directly in soil, but I was very happy to see today that several of them are sprouting new little clusters of leaves. That's promising, right? ^_^

it is indeed promising! ... actually, i have no idea what a pineapple sage is. heh. ah well. back to procrastinating.
