Speaking of chicken-shit when it comes to scary stuff, Supernatural is out here in Japan...I rented the first dvd...and decided to stop after the first episode...because I so can't watch horror. Or ghost stuff. o.o;

though I will say that the very first episode was uber scary, I was hiding behind my pillow the very first time I watched it...in fact I tend to continue to do that, for certain episodes--wish that someone else was in the house watching with me. I am going to have to tell you to at least watch a few episodes for me... there's one called Faith, it's the twelveth episode in, also the least horror related episode. I keep debating on if this is the episode that I want to force Aniki to watch or the one I think he should absolutely never see.
But c'mon, you had to love the misfire of the blood packet in the present day teaser. The guy in the car, and all you see is light through the foggy windows then...double splat. And I'm just going...what in the world could she have possibly done to cause THAT? And lo and behold the commentary audibly shows the director and creator stop and crack up at the misfire that they didn't have time to reshoot.Though, at least now I know you'll be able to appreciate it when I say "Driver

Yes, and the pretty boys are very shiny...very...very almost enough to get me to keep watching...and yet...I live alone in a little apartment with an overactive imagination in a country that makes really horrifying horror movies because of their preexisting ghost stories. Watching it with a bunch of people in a brightly lit room in the middle of the day might be a different story...I probably would watch more if I wasn't by myself. I did actually start the second ep and freaked before the opening started. I did like the show...it was good...I just can't do the horror. o.o;
Maybe if Clara was real and sitting on my couch with me.

are there four eps on a disc? Because um...yeah...ep two quite scary, and ep three...you who fear water anyway should not watch ever, let alone by yourself--although they do introduce themselves as Agent Ford and Agent Hamil in one of those two and it made me squee just a bit--ep four, not hiding behind couch cushions scary. Then we get to disc two, which has the actual scariest episode ever (sayeth the fans) and the one that scared Hime-sama enough to not be sure if she could handle watching more...okay freaked out is a better term than scared--stupid mirrors.
