Yeah, the icon kinda fits my mood.
Because, as some of you may know, I had a date on Saturday evening.
I still don't know how I got it but... okay, yeah, I do know haha. I actually reactivated my profile on a well known French website a few days ago. It was just to pass time, since a lot of guys on that website are creeps.
And then this cute and seemingly normal guy contacts me wanting to get to know me. Ah, okies.
... so, some MSN, and then exchange of numbers. We start speaking on Wednesday I think and he offers to see each other on Saturday, and since the creep-o-meter hasn't gone up, I don't think twice and agree.
Except I start freaking out internally, because, all technicalities put aside, I'm 26 and I've never done this before. ACK! Lee (that'll be his nickname until further notice cause letters could be too confusing - he's not Asian or anything though, it's just that those three letters fit together :p ) even tries to call me a few times between our MSN convo and the date, but I don't reply the first two times (first, freaking out, second call, legitimate reason, and then on the day I finally answer cause I'm thinking he'll think I'm trying to bail out) .
So, on Saturday, I tried to make myself a little pretty, and let my hair loose (this hair is pure nightmare, I'm telling you) and I prepare myself for the "Hey I'm here" phone call (he drives) .
I'm nervous as heck by that point, but I don't care, I'm just hoping he won't be too disgusted by me. And he... is not. He's kinda cute, actually. Scratch that, there is definitely some yummy-ness. *cue to me counting my lucky stars mentally even if this is just a date*
So we hop into the car, and first good sign : I don't feel scared when he drives. Yay! Definitely bonus points. So we talk about stuff, his hobbies, mine, things like that, and we find a place where we can have a little walk together.
Quite frankly, I'm happy we were able to speak like that to get to know each other. I definitely hope we see each other again.
Bonus bonus points ? Very sweet lips. :P
