Your posts about "Colours" basically just sent me back in time. That was one of the very first fanfics I ever read. I remember how much I loved it. It's been so long that I can barely remember how it went, though, so I'm definitely interested in re-reading it once you're ready! Are you posting it somewhere as you go, or are you saving your edits for a big release?

Hey wow, Lauren, so good to hear from you!

How've you been? I hope life treated you kindly and you're happy.

I'll never forget how much you've helped me with this story the first time around. Thank you again; your comments were lifesavers every time I got the commented drafts back from you. And to think you initially had to slog through the first chapters ... really, thank you!

It'll be a long time before I'll be done, though. I'm still sticking to my plan, although spare time for writing is a precious commodity these days and it's definitely going slowly.

I'll be saving the revised chapters until at least the plot revision will have been finished. Otherwise there would be too many glaring inconsistencies between new and old plot. Also, these days I just can't with the high pressure of publishing a WIP story.

You, however, may ask me about anything and read any part of the whole thing whenever you want to. Just talking to you and talking about Escaflowne gets the warm fuzzies back; I owe you that much and more ^__^

I totally understand about the high pressure! I admire those who can revise and rewrite! I can't even imagine going back and revising one of my old fics; they're such products of their time in my life, like a voice of a younger me. That means I can barely stand to look at them, ha. :)

I'll be one of your first readers when you're ready to release it! Will you send me a PM or just respond again to this comment and let me know where it is? I don't check LJ very often and I'd hate to miss the big release.
