Aug 21, 2013 18:10

Title: Find Me
Pairing: Jin x Kame
Rating: NC-17
Genre - Catch Me: AU, angst, romance, smut, drama, tragedy
Beta by: my cat.  okay, seriously, nobody
Disclaimer: I don't own KAT-TUN, any of its members, any other JE people.  I write this for fun and for other fans of these fine folks.  But don't steal my plots, mmkay?  I put a great deal of time into them except for when I'm randomly spastically spitting words onto a page.  But I value those too...
Summary - Catch Me: A dramatic turn in his life throws Kame into Jin's college world.  Almost immediately they notice an attraction, but they spend more time clashing than not.
Summary - Lose Me: Kame and Jin still have the occasional argument but mostly they live happily together.  But when someone from Kame's past shows up, will the two be able to deal?
Summary - Find Me: Kame has been kidnapped.  Will he and Jin ever be reunited?

Warning: While "Catch Me" part is more towards the fluffy end of the scale at times, the other three parts have such things as drugs and murder and rape and all the fun parts of a bad neighborhood in a big city.  Oh, and character death(s).

A/N: This cut and the next one were sooooo hard to write.

Find Me
Fourth Cut ~The Things We Do For Love~

Every day after class, Jin went back to that street.  At first, he just waited at the yellow building but after so many days, it was pretty clear that they weren’t even going to come back to claim the items they’d left behind.

How had Kame lived in that dark, dark room?  Jin knew Ryo was evil, but… putting Kame in a place like that?

Why had Ryo chosen Kame?  Jin could understand Kame’s allure - he was smart, beautiful, kind…  But that sort of obsession, it wasn’t normal and as far as what Kame had ever told him, there was nothing in the brief shared past that Kame had done to encourage it.  He said they barely knew each other; they met in college…

But, no, wait… that very first day, before Kame fainted.  Ryo said he went to the same high school, not just college.  Had something happened there?  But if it had, surely Kame would have told him.

Nothing made sense!  Jin couldn’t find some logic behind Ryo and until he did, he’d never be able to guess where they’d gone.  All he could do was spread outward, widen the search and hope by some miracle he stumbled upon them.

But he couldn’t do it alone.

Spitting blood, Jin looked up at Koki, who was being held back by Yamapi and Junno.  He thought he’d imagined the slow change in the other’s attitude towards him over the past two weeks.  Apparently not.

Koki was trying his best to throw Yamapi and Junno off of him, screaming at Jin, “I held my tongue.  I let you have him!  First you let him get raped and then you let him get kidnapped?  And you still haven’t found him?  It’s been two weeks!  LOOK AT THIS PLACE!  LOOK HOW HE WAS LIVING!!”

Maru joined in the collective effort to hold back an enraged Koki.  Ueda offered his hand to Jin to help him stand, but Jin didn’t take it.  He stood under his own power.  He wouldn’t back down from Koki.  Not over this.  “I’ve seen it.  I’ve been here every day for the past three days.  And exactly how were you ‘holding your tongue’ anyway?  Practically every day, jumping on his back, calling him your boyfriend, telling him you love him.  How is any of that keeping quiet?!”

This seemed to throw Koki for a second.  He stopped struggling against the three men holding him back.  “Um… well, because he thought I was joking…?”

“God!  You're just so… Just help me find him, okay?”  Koki was really pissing him off.  “And might I remind you, all of you, that you are the ones that trusted Ryo, not me.  I knew something was wrong with him and not one of you backed me on this.  Not a single damn one of you.  So… help me or fuck off.  Permanently.”

Maru asked, “Do you have a plan?”

“Well, I thought we could just ask people if they…”

“You’re kidding, right?”  Maru was giving him that look… the one that meant he’d just said something monumentally stupid.  “Around here?  In this neighborhood?”

Ueda added, “Assuming you can get anyone to talk to you, something like that won’t stand out here.  They’re not going to remember one guy.  And that all assumes you don’t end up knifed in an alley instead.  What, did you want to knock on every door, break into every squatter’s nest, shouting his name?”

“Um… something like that…” Jin admitted.  Actually, his brilliant plan which he spent all afternoon coming up with was exactly that.

Now even Yamapi was facepalming.  “Bakanishi…”

From Junno, “What about a map?  We can search and mark off what we’ve checked on it.  We can’t get into peoples’ houses but we can at least check abandoned buildings.  In groups of two or three, not alone.”

Everyone, Jin included, was now staring at Junno in slack-jaw amazement.

“What?  I can’t be smart, too?  Just handsome and funny?”  Junno mock-sighed.  “My cross to bear.  Forever underappreciated in my time…”

Koki mumbled something suspiciously like, “You’re not as funny as you think you are…”  But then, louder, he added, “It’s a long shot, but what other choice do we have?  I can’t sit around, not when it’s possible my precious Turtle is trapped somewhere else just like this room here.”  He shot another glare at Jin, but Jin didn’t care.  They had a plan.

It had to work, right?  Life wouldn’t give him something as amazing as Kame only to take it away again permanently, right?  And surely, Jin thought, Kame had suffered enough for one lifetime.  Yes, this plan had to work.  It just had to.

His body felt so heavy, like he might somehow sink into the bed.  And maybe that wouldn’t be all bad.  The bed was warm and he was feeling so good.  Maybe he could sink into the bed and then ever downward, through the floor and through the earth and stay in its warmth forever.

He shouldn’t have taken them, he knew that.  He was just so tired of the pain.  And they helped… they took him away from it all.  But it was just going to be that once, he had told himself.  Just once because Ryo had beaten him so badly.

Until later, when Ryo gave him more.

Until the need to numb himself against the fear became so great he finally gave in again.

This time, the third time, it was going to be the last.  He wouldn’t take anything else Ryo gave him.  But for now, for this last time, he would enjoy the warmth and not worry about the future.

The hand on his chest traced lazy circles slowly downward.  Giggling, Kame closed his eyes and sighed.  And when the hand found his already half-erect shaft and began stroking it, he whimpered and unconsciously bucked his hips into the motion.

As the pleasure mounted and whimpers gave way to moans, Ryo’s voice whispered in his ear, “I told you I could make you feel good if you behaved, Kazuya.  Let me show you just how good…”

Another day, though how many had passed was anyone’s guess.  Time hardly seemed real.

“Please, Ryo, not now.  I’m so tired…”

“You know, sometimes I wonder if you even notice how much I’ve done for us.  For you.”  He sounded angry.

Quickly, Kame said, “No, I notice.  I really do.  I notice it all.  I…” and he searched for the right words but they wouldn’t come to him.  “I…”

“I killed my dad, just like you said to.”

“I never…”

A backhand slap.  “Don’t interrupt me!  I followed you to college so you wouldn’t be lonely without me.  I made sure those baseball scouts wouldn’t drag you away against your will.  I…”

Ryo kept talking but Kame’s heart had stopped and his skin went cold.  Did that mean…  was Ryo the one who pushed him down those stairs?  Only vaguely aware he was interrupting again, “You… you tried to kill me?”

Shaking his head, Ryo said, “No, of course not.  I just miscalculated a bit.  You weren’t supposed to get that hurt.  Just hurt enough for the scouts to move on so you could finally have some peace.”  And Ryo’s eyes narrowed before he continued, “I know about the contract.  I overheard the whole thing.  He was trying to take you away.  But it’s okay, because I knew you didn’t really want to leave me.  So I took care of him, instead.”

“You mean you…”

Ryo nodded.

Kame barely made it to the small bathroom before everything in his stomach came up and out.  And even after he was done, he sat there by the toilet hyperventilating.  Ryo had killed two people and it was because of him?  And what was going to keep Ryo from doing the same thing to him, when he finally got tired of him?  He’d already almost killed him once…

That was it.  Screw the consequences.  If Ryo was going to kill him eventually anyway, he might as well take the chance of another escape attempt.  Force Ryo’s hand… either he’d be free or he’d be dead and either way, it’d be over.

While he was still hyperventilating draped half over the toilet, Kame felt a soft touch on his shoulder.  Before he could stop himself, he flinched and screamed, “Don’t touch me!”  Then the realization of what he’d done sank in and his hand flew to his mouth.  But before he could do anything to mollify Ryo, the other was dragging him out of the bathroom by his hair while he screamed desperate apologies… because he knew what would be next.

The story continues:
Fifth Cut ~An Understanding~

A/N: So... Kame determined to escape.  Friends doing their best to find him.  Tension between Koki and Jin.  Ryo admitting to two murders (but is that one really such a surprise?).

Fun, fun, fun.

Oh, Kame, why oh why did you have to give in and take the drugs?

Wait, am I allowed to ask that question if I'm the one that wrote it?
