I think this is the first time since the end of Donna's run that I've watched an episode the same day it aired. I'm so used to being months behind everyone. It's weird.

I am so glad I'm not the only one for whom River had to be growing on, because I really didn't like her in her first episodes, and I really do like her now. Especially after that scene with Rory.

Amy Pond I am so freaked out that you shot a little girl what the hell are you doing?!

A) She doesn't know it's a little girl, and B) she thinks she's saving the Doctor. *shrug*

I was getting ready to say the same thing about River in response to your entry! *braintwins* She's a lot less smug now, and she relates better to Amy and Rory than she did with Donna. Or at least...that's how it all seems to me? I feel like in her first few episodes, I was being TOLD I should like her, whereas lately, I'm being SHOWN why she's likable. (It's possible a semester writing critical essays about this kind of thing has warped my brain.)

Re: Amy: You're absolutely right. But I of course know it's a little girl, and I think that's a huge part of what's freaking me out. What's it going to do to Amy when she realizes who she was shooting at?
