Yay! I've been looking forward to this all day. A little short (I'm too greedy), and mostly a transition chapter, I'm guessing. I'm also guessing that the beach won in the poll. I don't know why no one else voted for the vale, it was so pretty.
"If I say no, will you tell me all about your filthy thoughts?" Jake is incorrigible, I love him! At least when he's not with Bella. And I was reading "News to Me" at twilighted and had to stop because I liked Jake too much in that story and I hated myself for it.

Ahhhyes, I can't think of anything better to wake up to than a Dreamcatcher update. This chapter, while perhaps not action-packed, was exciting in a whole different way, and I rejoiced in every second of Jake/Bethness. *happy sigh* I so enjoyed seeing Beth and Billy meet, even with that painful little part about Beth's "family". I wonder, are we going to see anymore of them in later chapters? I love it, though, the contrast between Jake's and Beth's experience of family - and I wouldn't mind seeing more on that subject.

And do you know what else I love? Reading Beth's POV and hear her refer to Jake as "my werewolf". *grins*

Interestingly enough, I suddenly feel less... eh, desperate, for that smutty scene than I did before. Apparently, kissing and cuddling helps. *nods* Yes, I think I can be patient now. Don't listen to her! Beach sex, now! Thank you, for another excellent update! :D

The best part of waking up is Dreamcatcher in your cup~ XD

Well, perhaps more than anything else, this chapter signifies the turning point where Beth realizes that she can't deal with all the really bad stuff if she's busy fighting what's happening between herself and Jake. So you see her relaxing, reaching out to him, a little giddy over the fact that she can be close to him.

It's not clearly apparent, because she pretty much refuses to do much talking or thinking about it, but Beth has spent the past few years really in a state of mourning. She's friendly, but intensely private, never dated, never let anyone close. In her mind, the wonderful part of life was over, and all that was left was slogging determinedly through the rest.

So it's so much more than simple lust. It's being starved for intimacy and physical contact. Now that she's started, she almost can't keep her hands to herself. lol

Beth's family... hmmm. Maybe. ^_^

Kissing and cuddling is the balm to any woman's soul~

Anything else I might've found to say got permanently derailed by the giggles that the caterpillar mating dance caused. *g*
