ugh! this was perfect! Cake! Vodka! Kisses! Throwing up on shoes! It had all of the elements it needed... What were Kat and Embry doing while Beth was tossing her cookies/making out with Jake? Can't wait for more, but you know me, I'm a bit of a whore when it comes to your fics.

Jake is fighting for his future here. He's focused on the target, Beth, and he's not going to be dissuaded.

I enjoy the fact that Jacob is thinking about Edward in the middle of all this. It makes me feel gratified that he would compare himself to Edward...

This also makes me contemplative because Edward and Jacob are REALLY polar opposites in one sense: Edward will stay 17 forever but has gained the knowledge and experience of over 100 years. Jake (while he's a werewolf anyways) appears older, but is much younger than he looks. I'm pretty sure I hear Carlos Mancia going "deet de dee" but it's a very striking contrast now that I've noticed it and placed them beside each other.

Well, I like to think Jake is man enough to give a nod to the man that won. That he can admit he's young and still has things to learn. At least my Jake is. XD

Hooray for Jake... trying to be grown up. *tear* a step in the right direction that should be rewarded. oh wait. you already did... you gave him beth back... drunk, but.. well.. mostly whole.

Your fics make me contemplative... sometimes it all just comes out. It usually makes sense in some capacity, but its usually mind ramblings that just happen to become finger vomit flying across my keyboard. Forgive it and me if it gets tedious. There seems to be no stopping it.

He is. And I think he'll be even more aware of that now that she's made her objections to his age known. I don't want to forget about his pain in dealing with hers. Although in some ways, the imprinting did most of the healing. Absolute certainty in someone goes a long way.

Psh. Now why in the world would I complain that the crazy delusions in my head inspire you to talk about them?
