Not happy about the changes LJ are making to friends pages.

I've been using LJ on and off for over a decade now. It's a blogging site - why is it trying to be another Tumblr? I have a tumblr, and I use it for multimedia, but trying to have any kind of discussion on there is futile. Same with Twitter. I like LJ because it's the opposite. Not to

Exactly! It's ridiculous. If people want to use Facebook/Tumblr etc, they'll just go to those sites, not the rip-off LJ seems like it's trying to become. And then when the current users do migrate away, it'll just end up with no userbase at all...

Very true! I just set up an account over on Dreamwidth tonight. I'll be sad if I have to move away from LJ after all these years, but it's looking highly likely :(
