I can't believe how good you portray him, this is so Doc Cottle.
The hair, the eyebrows, the little frown between them and of course the sigaret on his lip.
BTW that sigaret it looks so real, the tip that's lit, but most of all the smoke coming from it. Very good job!
It's so nice to see another one of your drawings, makes me realize I haven't been drawing in a while.

Yes I know I've been neglecting my fangirling seriously lately. I've been so busy that I've been completely drained when I get home in the evening.

You should be proud about the smoke and the fact that your work inspires others.
Last night I made a little A/R chibi just because of your little Doc Cottle.
Off to see if I can finish it before going to work, I hope so :)

And yes I need MC to return, I hope things are a bit less hectic, but even if it won't I'll make the time.

Great job on Cottle. I’m going to echo everyone else and say that the smoke is really impressive. Much like hair, I imagine that smoke is really difficult to get it to look ‘right’.

yes, smoke is not an easy thing to draw, i tried different things, including specific smoke brushes but for this one i finally set my soft brush opacity to 30%, flow to 50% and then drew swirls... till i was satisfied XD then smoothed everything on top masking with a big soft brush and probably some blur =)
